Learning Objectives: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Provide an overview of EBP and roles for librarians
  • Describe study design characteristics and appropriate selection for research questions
  • Create structured clinical questions and develop a search strategy using PICO elements
  • Critically appraise a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) and a Systematic Review
  • Understand the librarian’s role in implementing evidence
